Providence Religious Movement started in Korea, and thus has also been also known as Providence Church Korea. It is founded by Pastor Joshua Jung Myung Seok, who is a korean born in Wolmyeongdong, Korea.
Providence Church has the most members from Korea amongst all other countries. However, Providence Church Korea is a misnomer, because there are numerous Providence churches and members in Korea, as well as all over the world. In that case, we would be calling them “Providence Church America” or “Providence Church New Zealand” etc. (See Providence Churches Plotted in the World Map Above)
