Providence Religious Movement’s Focus
Providence’s main focus has always been to raise members to love the Almighty God, Holy Spirit, and the Holy Son Lord, with all our hearts, souls, and minds (Matthew 22: 37), all days of our lives. Pastor Joshua often teaches, “The normal life is the pinnacle life (정상이 정상이다 – a homonym in korean),” while living his own life as a role model. The normal, daily life, if lived according to God’s Will becomes the pinnacle life that is worthy of the rapture. Providence members thus dedicate themselves to the service of God and the community, praying for peace and healing while reaching out to people from all walks of life to spread the love of God.
New members learn the foundations of the bible and the Trinity’s working in this time period through the Providence 30 lessons. These are powerful and perspective changing bible lessons that transforms listeners in their body, soul and spirit.
Providence members receive daily words in the form of inspirational proverbs and messages that guide us to live centered on the Trinity in our daily lives. Sunday and Wednesday Services are the most important times of the week where we offer service and dedication to God. (Romans 12:1) Pastor Joshua is dedicated to receiving sermons from the Trinity through sincere and earnest prayers, that he then sends to Providence churches all over the world.
Providence Religious Movement’s Beginnings
Starting from a humble apartment in Shinchon, Seoul, Providence grew from a home church to an entire Christian movement all across Korea and the world because of the mighty working of the Holy Trinity. Today, despite persecutions, Pastor Joshua Jung and Providence members spread the love of the Trinity in over 25 nations, including the english speaking nations of the United States of America, Canada, United Kingdom, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand.
Providence established its headquarters at the Natural Temple of Wolmyeongdong, Korea. It is a majestic, mysterious and magnificent land where the Trinity dwells. It holds many deep stories between Pastor Joshua Jung Myung Seok and the Trinity, being the once decrepit and isolated hometown of less than 7 households. Today, it is one of the most spiritual and grand places in the world, attracting hundreds of thousands of members and visitors each year to visit, and even hold services.
